Bloody Hell, it has been absolutely ages since I last left a post and a lot has happened since the last one, so i’d thought i’d take a few moments whilst I eat my dinner get this thing up to date. So yes, the course has been going at a rate of knots, faster than Kimi Raikkonen on a Jet Pack powered by a plasma-red bull cocktail so to speak and the old self has had a torrid time to say the least…and i’ve just realised i’ve spilt Ragu over my keyboard, bad times.
So when we got back to University, we we’re given a whole new group and sent on our way with our summer projects, which is to start a campaign up and push it as far is it can go, and then present it to Channel 4, which will now be in a few weeks time. From the Television side of things, I have some awesome people that I am eternally grateful for being in the same group as me. The Lovely Miss. Aisling Doherty and the lively fellows which be that of Mr. Joff Harvey and Mr. Sam Shetabi give us what i think is a very well rounded group when it comes to the production side of things. From the sides of Interactive Media and Scriptwriting we have some awesome folks which allow the group to have an extra dimension as they all look at things in a slightly different light to us T.V. folk, which is a very good thing. Its at times like this where you learn a lot more about yourself as a person, and the skills that I’ve obtained over the year, such as the increased ability to work effectively as a team and that your realise that different professions don’t really do this as well, I mean, just look at the Labour Party for one. The campaign we are doing is called uKarma, which is basically a rip off of My Name Is Earl, but it seems to have had a good reception from Peers and Tutors a like. We’ve been filming rather alot for it recently and its done my head in, so i’m not going to badger on about it here now but here is a picture of us on shoot.
Aside from the summer project, we’ve also had to have our independant projects in only just last week, in fact, this time last week I was in the edit suite with the very lovely Ally Young toiling away to no end trying to get it done so that we could have a reasonable amount of sleep that night. Invevitably, that didn’t happen in the slightest…we left University at 4:30am. Now when a project gets set back in early October you’d think you’d get it done well in time. But the best thing is, nobody did, and the ‘comaradery’ as a result was absolutely fantastic. When you see that your computer has a 2 hour render time, your quite thankful that there are people around to pester, and they never seem to mind as edit suites are usually rather lonely places. The final products though were bloody stunning, and we’ve definitely outdone last years Celebrate independents by a long way so well done to all.

Anyway, personally, i’ve had a rather frustrating time recently, due to the fact that I severed my Urethra and lost rather alot of a certain fluid which shouldn’t come out the end of ones Penis, anyway its almost better which is nice, but i think it ties in very nicely with my Karma Campaign as most of the time, I am a complete and utter cunt. But yes, apart from that, things are good. Anyway I cannot be arsed to ramble on anymore as I have something much more important to do now and thats thank all of the lovely people that helped on our shoot today.
